GCSE coursework exemplars 1

The examples of GCSE coursework accessible from the table below were undertaken in 2003 and have been provided by Amanda Griffiths, then teacher at Dixons CTC, for FoodForum. They show how her students tackled the 40 hour coursework requirement to demonstrate:

  • their knowledge and understanding of food materials, processes and production
  • their capability in designing and making products
  • their awareness of industrial practices, ICT, CAD & CAM
  • their awareness of the issues and values surrounding their work
