Powerpoint
Resources
The following
PowerPoint presentations are teaching and learning materials that support
the KS3
National Strategy and the D&T
Framework. They may be used with students for whole class teaching sessions
(if you have a white board and projection facility, or an interactive
whiteboard) or as the basis for an ICT lesson within food technology,
where students have their own PC from which to work.
Alternatively, looking at these resources and considering how they may
be used, might prompt you to develop your own along
similar lines.

breads
|
These
photographs of different bread types may be used as stimulus material.
For example, students could be divided into pairs or groups and
set the task of gathering information about a specific bread. If
PCs are available, they could annotate the slides with their findings
and then present tot he class. Alternatively these slides may be
printed and a paper-based version of the activity could be carried
out. |
