Food Technology resources for special educational needs

Using this list
The following list of resources has been seclected as being particularly useful to those teaching students in primary and secondary schools with special educational needs.

However, the resources were not necessarily produced with special needs in mind and so teachers are advised to evaluate their appropriateness in relation to their own situation and students.

www.nutrition.org.uk Not an easy site for SEN children to find what they need, but excellent source of nutrition information and an excellent visual Eatwell plate section, also useful templates and how to sheets for carrying out such activities as sensory analysis, star profiles, looking at functions of foods, flow diagrams.
