Ali Farrell has a 15 year track record of providing independent, quality INSET courses up and down the country. Ali is available for school-based consultancy and CPD courses and is happy to consider requests. She is currently offering the following courses: KS3 Food Technology on a Plate KS4 Food Technology on a Plate Cooking up a Real Curriculum (a practical course involving food preparation) If you would like further details on these titles, if you want her to run a course for your school, or a cluster of schools in your area, or if you are a LA advisor with a CPD request please email her on ali@foodforum.org.uk to discuss. Ali also trains primary and secondary teachers within the Food in Schools programme as well as acting as a Consultant to the Licence to Cook programme. These high profile, national initiatives are government funded and aim to improve food education in schools. Ali has developed her own materials to support the Licence to Cook programme and the Programme of Study for food with the current National Curriculum D&T (2008). These are entitled OK2Cook and are published in the Curriculum Matters section of this site.
