Ali Farrell has a 15 year track record of providing independent, quality INSET courses up
and down the country.
During that time she has worked with a number of national CPD providers, in particular Mill Whart Training who ceased trading in 2010.
Ali is available for school-based consultancy and CPD
courses and is happy to consider requests. She is currently offering the following courses:
- Primary Food Matters
- KS3 Food Technology on a Plate
- KS4 Food Technology on a Plate
- Cooking up a Real Curriculum (a practical course involving food preparation activities that can be used with students back in school)

Ali also trains
primary and secondary teachers within the Food
in Schools programme as well as acting as a Consultant to the Licence to Cook
programme.
These
high profile, national initiatives are government funded and
aim to improve food education in schools. They ran until the end of March 2011 when funding was discontinued.
Ali
has developed her own materials to support the Licence
to Cook programme and the Programme of Study for food
with the current National Curriculum. These
are entitled OK2Cook and are published in the Curriculum Matters section of this site. |
